My legal career has been the culmination of numerous areas and roles in law that amounts to an exceptional ability to represent my clients who are facing criminal drug crimes. Early on, as a legal researcher, I excelled in finding and implementing relevant case law. Soon following, I worked my way into the role of Assistant District Attorney, prosecuting criminal cases. This led to the position of Municipal Judge. As a former prosecutor and judge, I gained mastery of every side of the courtroom - a quality that helps my clients succeed every day.

Our FAQs

  • In Dallas, the penalties for drug crimes can be severe and vary based on the type and amount of the substance involved. For instance, possession of a small amount of marijuana may result in a misdemeanor charge, while possession of larger quantities of harder drugs like cocaine or heroin can lead to felony charges. Penalties may include hefty fines, imprisonment, and a permanent criminal record, which can significantly impact future employment and housing opportunities. It is crucial to have a knowledgeable defense attorney who can navigate these complexities and work towards minimizing the consequences of a drug charge.
  • A defense attorney plays a vital role in navigating the complexities of drug crime charges in Dallas. They can analyze the specifics of your case, identify any potential weaknesses in the prosecution's argument, and develop a tailored defense strategy. This may include challenging the legality of the search and seizure that led to the charges or negotiating plea deals to reduce penalties. With a deep understanding of local laws and the aggressive tactics often employed by prosecutors, a skilled attorney can significantly improve your chances of a favorable outcome.
